About Alpine
Days at Alpine are packed with loads of fun and a wide variety of opportunities. Traditional camp activities such as horseback riding, riflery, team sports, archery, crafts, canoeing, swimming, and tennis are complemented by such Alpine favorites as earth games, frisbee golf, wilderness, project adventure, mountain biking, physical training, guitar, and fly fishing.
This web site uses Flash. You can download it for free from Macromedia's web site.
Each counselor teaches a specific activity, and staff for activities such as swimming, riflery, horseback riding, mountain biking and project adventure are specially trained and certified before the summer begins.
On any given day, a camper may take a trail ride on a horse, play a set of tennis, and climb a forty foot element on the project adventure ropes course before he even eats lunch. Over the course of a term, the usual schedule of activities is interspersed with such events as our Fourth of July Celebration, Mountain Day Celebration, and a Trip Day. Each night concludes with an activity that could range from a cabin campout, to a game of "Mission Impossible", to a night of Slaughterball in the gym.
As you can tell, Alpine Camp for Boys is a very special place. If you're interested in spending a summer on Lookout Mountain with us, we encourage you to learn more about Alpine.
