Our friends Cal and Christy Breed own this private studio and gallery about 20 minutes from camp very near Little River Canyon.  Cal is an artist and his expertise is blowing glass, hand crafting each piece with great attention to form, balance, and color.  He has a unique gift and his work is beautiful.  The gallery is a great way to get a look at his pieces and if you are lucky you might get to catch him at work, one of the coolest experiences around the Mountain.

Probably in our top 5 places to eat anywhere in the Southeast.  Fun, relaxed atmosphere and some of the best food around.  Steaks, pork, fish (flown in fresh every week).  Must have the french press coffee and coconut cake (or any of their desserts) after your meal.  Open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday.  Call ahead for reservations and directions.

One of our favorite places in Mentone.  Tony is a very talented chef who specializes in great steaks and fresh seafood.  Lunch from Wednesday to Sunday.  Dinner Wednesday to Saturday.  Try the cheeseburger – it’s our favorite!
