Since its first summer in 1959, Alpine Camp for Boys has offered a unique and exciting atmosphere for boys to have a rewarding experience amidst the beauty of God's creation. Situated on the crest of Lookout Mountain, Alpine's massive rocks, rushing waterfalls, and deep woods provide the perfect setting for a summer away at camp. Alpine strives to offer boys a rewarding experience under the leadership of dedicated Christian men in a beautiful and remote setting where our campers can truly "increase in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man." In today's complex society, we are convinced that nothing can take the place of the proper home environment, where a boy is surrounded by love, affection and careful parental guidance. However, we feel that a fun and adventurous summer under the proper direction and supervision of strong male role models will do more than anything else to supplement the home training which a child has received. A camper at Alpine may learn how to saddle a horse, rock climb, or build a good campfire, but more importantly he learns to "act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God." He also learns a lot about himself and the friends he makes while at camp. So, what else goes on at Alpine? Find out about Alpine... |
